Booking procedure
You can book online at: www.connectservices.ie
Alternatively, you can request a booking form from our office or email: info@connectservices.ie, you may call Flora, Programme Coordinator on:
+353 8713 14312, or post completed form to: Connect School of Language & Culture, The Barbican Centre, William Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland.

Booking confirmation
When we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice. Your place is guaranteed once payment has been received. Bookings made less than 14 days prior to the start of the course will require immediate payment.

Payment Options                                                                                                                                                     

  1. Payment in full within 7 days of the invoice date
  2. 25% deposit payment within 7 days of the invoice date and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of the course
  3. Instalment plan may be arranged subject to 25% deposit payment; and balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the start of the course

Payment can be made through:

Course fees include:
• 20-30 hours engagement per week (language training/and activities)
• Up to 12 students per group to facilitate full participation
• Lesson materials provided
• Certificate of attendance
• Accommodation (homestay+meals)
• Social activities + Insurance
• Airport transfers

Early bird discounts
Book early / refer a friend and get a 5% discount off the fee

Group discounts
If 6 or more people book on the same course as a group or from same family travelling at same time, they qualify for a 5% discount off the combined course fees.
NOTE:  Discount only applies to Connect Services courses and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and places are subject to availability.

Special Requirements
Connect Services will make every effort to accommodate special requirements that have been notified in advance on the booking form.

Joining Instructions
Joining instructions including outline of the day, venue details, map and host family details will be issued approximately two to three weeks prior to the course. If you have not received your joining instructions three days prior to the training course, please call +353 87 1314312. Connect Services will not be held responsible for non-receipt of joining instructions and refunds will not be issued under such circumstances.

Course transfers
There is no charge for transferring your booking to the same course on an alternative date provided you notify Connect Services in writing up to 14 days before the start and if there is availability. However, a transfer fee of 20% of the course fee will be payable if the notice is received less than 14 days before the start of the original course. No refund will be made in the event of a transfer. Not more than one transfer will be allowed. Requests to transfer a course must be made in writing and can be sent by email to: info@connectservices.ie

Cancelling your place
If you notify Connect Services in writing (via letter or email ) up to 14 days before the start date of a course, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee of 20% of the course fee. If you withdraw for whatever reason within the 14 day period, the full fee will remain payable even if you are unable to nominate a substitute attendee. Substitutions should be received by Connect Services at least 48 hours prior to the course start date. All extra travel charges plus €50 admin charge apply in any substitution.
Should a participant require an invitation letter from Connect Services, we are able to provide this as long as full payment of the course fee has been received. Connect Services is not able to act on behalf of the participant and is not responsible for any costs incurred by failure to obtain a Visa. If a participant has been declined a visa, full course fees can be refunded under certain circumstances. Proof of this should be provided and we should be informed in writing at least 21 days before course starts.

If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to Connect Services then the course fee will remain payable in full and no transfer will be allowed.

Cancellation by Connect Services
Where circumstances dictate, Connect Services reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made if there is no alternative course/class arranged but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.

Details of the specific venue will be sent in the joining instructions for all training courses.

Dress code
There is no dress code; however, most participants choose to wear smart casual clothing. Due to variable temperatures of air conditioned rooms, layers are advised.

Connect Services does not accept responsibility for any action as a result of information or views expressed on its training courses including course material. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of Connect Services. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations. However, any concerns should be forwarded to Programme Coordinator.

Home Stay
Period of stay with host family is Monday-Sunday all through the programme. Participant may be allowed to visit / sleep over outside host family’s home at any stage, if parent provide us with a consent letter and details of the person concerned. However, Connect Services does not accept responsibility for the period of time spent outside host family.
